After watching many of the animals at the zoo, we began to notice that they each seemed to have their own little quirky personalities. The penguins were devious, in a fun-loving, attention-starved sort of way, the monkeys could take you or leave you, as long as they had each other, and the bears – well they really didn’t give a darn. We really could have spent an entire day at each exhibit.
The sea lions seemed to love any and all attention, and so did their best to keep the audience entertained. They seemed to even be aware that we were photographing them!
One sea lion climbed out of the water, looked at me, did a few “sea-lion-beauty-pageant-poses”, and then slid back in to the water.
